About Us

Mystic Moon Chihuahua's is a small hobby kennel located in Northeast Colorado.

Chihuahuas are excellent companion dogs, they are very energetic and if you are looking for a companion, the Chihuahua is a good choice. We both love Chihuahua's and their companionship.

My wife and I purchased our first Chihuahua in 2001 and named her Tinky. After her unfortunate passing, we decided to purchase another chihuahua because of the amount of enjoyment my wife and I shared with her. Nipper had some champion bloodlines and from a little encouragement from our breeder, we took and interest in showing chihuahuas. At that time we were interested in having something in common that we could share as a hobby. Showing dogs is something my wife and I have enjoyed very much together thus far. We also hope to someday get our kids involved and show as one big family. (See the Fun page for family pictures)

Over the next few years into 2006 we started purchasing Chihuahuas that have good pedigrees and are show quality. My wife and I entered Bubbles into our first show in 2005. 

We feel that it is very important to breed high quality, good temperament Chihuahua's conforming to AKC standards. All of our puppies are home raised, underfoot, in a clean and loving environment.  We will not sell our puppies or adults to puppy mills or pet shops.

Pet Quality puppies are sold on AKC limited registration and or Spay/Neuter Contracts

Our Chihuahua's do NOT live in a Kennel, they live in our home and "YES" sometimes they sleep with us.
